2020 ROSTER

Mike LAWRY 6'4 - 198LB (QB)
3/5

KENT HIGH SCHOOL – SENIOR

Good frame with upper body thickness. True dual-threat with sub 4.6 in 40-yard dash. Has one of the strongest arms in the MIAA. Throws well in rhythm but has to be more consistent with accuracy when getting through progressions. Feels pressure and has the ability to escape.  💪🙌

Elite body control to go with optimal size and strength, with good top-end speed and separation.  Physical receiver, difficult to press but also take advantage of any cushions given. Strong hands, wide catch radius, will bring anything in range down.

Matt CLEMENT
6'0 - 205LB (RB/LB)
2/5

CORNELIUS HIGH SCHOOL – SENIOR
Has a compact build that has begun to fill out over the years. A late bloomer starting his Senior year has made a great impact on his team. Has the frame to carry over 210 pounds at the college level. Has shown very good speed on the track with track verified 100-meter times in the 10.8-second range entering his junior season. 😊🙌

PETER PAUL 5'11 - 183LB (SS)
3/5

BLOOM TECH HIGH SCHOOL – SENIOR
A twitchy athlete with a compact build. Has a natural bounce to his step, which likely stems from his basketball background. Plays with a low center of gravity. Elite when it comes to changing directions. Spent much of high school career lining up at free safety, but athletic and long enough in the arms to work out on the boundary. High IQ football player that quickly reads and reacts. Smooth tracking and ball skills. Will capitalize on a bad throw in a hurry. Physical at the point of attack and likes contact. Technically sound when it comes to tackling and has gotten better in that area over the years.

James HEART (WR) 6'2 - 178LB
3/5

JAMES RIVER HIGH. SCHOOL – JUNIOR
Sturdy frame. Checks the desired boxes when it comes to height and hand size. A confident decision-maker that is capable of getting the ball to all different levels of the field. Willing to challenge defensive backs and fire into tight windows. Rather clean footwork in the pocket. Will locate hot reads, but also try to find his second and third progressions, even in the face of the rush. Not billed as a runner, but elusive enough to execute the read option and move the chains with his legs once a play breaks down. 💪🙌

BRUCE MaNN (WR/DB)
5'11 - 172LB
3/5

WILSON HIGH SCHOOL – JUNIOR
An elite athlete that checks the desired boxes when it comes to height and length. On the leaner side, but should be able to add some bulk. A true playmaker that impacted the game on defense, offense, and special teams throughout his high school career. Also a proficient scorer as a wide receiver creating separation and find the in zone. Maybe a two-sport athlete in college playing basketball since he is being heavily recruited for both sports.

Offers: SMU, Temple, UCONN, North Carolina A&T, Morgan State, Howard

JEFF PILES (QB)
6'1 - 180LB
4/5

JAMES RIVER HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORE
Great pocket mobility, can make a variety of throws, in the pocket and out of pocket. Puts good touch on deep routes, zip-on throws, particularly on intermediate routes. Can throw his receivers open, goes through his progressions, and can extend plays to get through his reads. A little bit of a gunslinger with some risky throws.😊🙌
